Reasoning and Problem Solving Day 2021
On Tuesday 15th June, All Saints celebrated their annual Reasoning and Problem Solving Day. Children across school took part in a range of activities around reasoning and problem solving in maths. For part of the morning they went outside to complete a maths treasure hunt, in which they had to search for problems in the playground and solve them. The classes also took part in a zoom with their partner class to see who could complete the maths challenge first. The winning class won popcorn and treats for a movie afternoon. In addition to these whole school challenges the children did a range of maths reasoning and problem solving tasks in their class.
